UKPMS Health Check 2008
The Pavement Conditions Information Systems Support Contract includes the role of completing an Annual Health Check of accredited UKPMS systems. The Health Check is intended to provide ongoing routine assurance that UKPMS systems continue to meet UKPMS requirements including the current rule set and national reporting.
The Annual Health Check is only carried out on fully accredited UKPMS systems and supplements rather than replaces the UKPMS Comparability Tests. Passing the Comparability Tests continues to be a requirement for any new systems that wish to become UKPMS accredited.
The Annual Health Check is performed on a specified version of each UKPMS system and so the accreditation only applies to that version. If the version number of any system differs from that listed below then it may mean that it is not accredited and the results are not valid.

(1)If a section has been surveyed but no observations are recorded then Confirm provides a warning. Users should then use the batch facility provided to generate 'Not Defective' observations for the features and XSPs required, in order to ensure that the surveyed length is calculated correctly for BV224b.
(2)Confirm will reject duplicate data if the survey number is the same, but may load such data if the survey numbers differ. Care should be taken when loading multiple batches of survey data for the same section/feature/XSP collected on the same date.
(3)The Confirm BVPI reports give the date range of the surveys actually included in the report rather than the date range specified by the user.
(4)The analysis run date is not included on the PI reports.
(5)On the BV187 and BV224b reports data collected on 31/03/2008 is wrongly attributed to the 2008/09 survey year. This may have implications for your BV187 results. Please contact MapInfo for further advice on how to handle this.
(6)The Confirm reports for NI168, NI169, THS/010a and THS/010b incorrectly base the PI calculation on the length with an RCI value of strictly greater than 100 rather than with an RCI value of greater than or equal to 100.
