The purpose of the UKPMS Health Check is to provide assurance that UKPMS systems continue to meet the UKPMS requirements including the current Rules & Parameters and PI definitions. The Health Check is only carried out on fully accredited UKPMS systems and supplements rather than replaces the UKPMS Comparability Tests.
All parts of the Annual Health Check should be completed using a single
version of your system. You should note this version number on your checklist,
the version number should also appear on various reports (e.g. national reports)
and you should use the same version for the user checks. If you make any
changes whatsoever to the system then it must be issued under a new version
number. That is, the version number must correspond to one, and only one,
system.
